Roasted Balsamic Broccoli*

Prep Time : 5 minutes
Cook Time : 25 minutes
Yield : 4 servings, 1 cup each

 

Ingredients:

1 1/2 pounds broccoli florets

1 cloves garlic, minced

1 Tbs. balsamic vinegar

1 tsp. dijon mustard (certified gluten-free if necessary)

1 tsp. brown sugar

1 Tbs. olive oil

salt to taste

 

Directions:

Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (204 degrees C).

Whisk together balsamic vinegar, mustard, brown sugar and olive oil.

Toss half with the broccoli (a freezer bad works great) and spread out onto a sheet pan.

Sprinkle with salt and roast for 25 minutes, shaking midway.

My notes:

This is a really great broccoli recipe to stir things up a bit.  I serve this with the Caprese Chicken
